About Us

Live at Home is a dedicated Manx registered charity which was first established in 1998.

We understand the important benefits to an older person’s physical and emotional well-being which come from being able to live well in their own home. It is vitally important that we all feel part of our community, but this may become more challenging for some people as they age due to many reasons, such as loss of mobility, bereavement, cognitive decline or loss of self-confidence.

The wide range of help and support that we provide is delivered by our dedicated staff members and enhanced by the commitment of over 300 volunteers who provide the support to enable our members to live independently and to recapture this important part of life; to see friends, get out and about and, most importantly, have fun!
